Today’s Xbox Live special is free this time: a New Years Eve theme. It’s by no means the greatest theme, but if you’re tired of looking at the default theme and don’t feel like spending money on another one, it’s not a bad deal. Certainly can’t argue with the price. There’s also a special free Avatar Prop that I forgot to mention earlier. It isn’t a today-only freebie like the New Years theme is, but who knows how long it’ll be free for. It’s reasonably cute and shows your avatar opening a present only to find an “ugly” sweater followed by an Xbox with appropriate comical expressions thrown in. It amuses me that they have the “ugly” sweater in the shop too, for a price.
